NOMINON
040929 LIVE REPORT MOCVARA, ZAGREB, CROATIA
Some more people came to see Nominon, although the
venue was still half-empty. Musically, this band was
better than Godhate. It is old school black metal
with characteristic sound of guitar. However, there
is a lot of blastbeats, nice rhythm switches and vocal
lines that sound really good. Perfect for moshpit!
Nevertheless, the crowd was quite motionless during
the gig. Maybe because the 4 on the stage did not
show much enthusiasm either. The vocalist seemed as
if he was addressing the public only because of the
sake of it (one dead cold: «it's great being
here in Zagreb») and somehow he did not manage
to motivate the crowd for some more active response.
However, people in the first row were more eagre to
bang bacause the reward was a free sample of Nominon's
debut album and new EP. One good injection can usually
turn Mocvara into a battlefield- pity it did not happen
this time.
